Eathan Bosch hit a brilliant century as the Dolphins piled on the runs against the Lions in their 4-Day Franchise Series encounter in Johannesburg on Sunday.
The men from Durban made a grand start with the bat one day one, reaching 341-9 at stumps, thanks to Bosch’s knock of 104.
Lutho Sipamla led the charge with the ball for the Lions, ending the day with figures of 3-53.

In Cape Town the Cobras also made a composed start with the bat in their clash with the Warriors. Tony de Zorzi hit an unbeaten 54, while Kyle Verreynne added 42 to guide the Cobras to 146-3 when umpires called stumps.
Meanwhile at SuperSport Park the Knights fought back brilliantly with the ball to dismiss the Titans for 263, despite Neil Brand scoring 106.
The Bloemfontein outfit picked up six wickets after tea before openers Matthew Kleinveldt and Jacques Snyman saw out the day on 23-0.
