Western Province and the EP Warriors secured convincing wins in the 4-Day Series on Saturday.
Tony de Zorzi’s 304* and Yaseen Vallie’s 136 propelled Western Province (575-7 dec) to an innings-and-155-run victory against the Free State Knights at Newlands.
Raynard van Tonder’s 117 and Pite van Biljon’s 71 weren’t enough as the Knights were bowled out for 309 in their second innings, having made 111 in their first.
George Linde and Dane Paterson claimed three wickets each for WP in Free State’s second innings.
At St George’s Park, the Warriors claimed a 239-run victory against the North West Dragons, to make it three wins from three matches.
Matthew Breetzke followed his unbeaten century from the first innings with 91 as the Warriors declared on 177-5 to set the Dragons 443 runs to win.
North West were bowled out for 203, with Marco Jansen taking three wickets and Ziyaad Abrahams two.
At the Wanderers, Titans spinner Simon Harmer celebrated another seven-wicket haul as the Central Gauteng Lions were bowled out for 139 in their second innings.
The Titans will need just 44 runs to win on Sunday.

Earlier, Theunis de Bruyn (101), Neil Brand (91) Heinrich Klaasen (69) and Dean Elgar (55) helped the Titans post 449 in their innings for a 95-run first-innings lead.
Duan Olivier claimed three wickets for the Lions, while Malusi Siboto, Sisanda Magala and Reeza Hendricks took two each.
Day three of the match between the KZN Dolphins and Boland Rocks was rained out.
The Dolphins are 135-4 in their first innings, having bowled Boland out for 211.
