EP Warriors pace bowler Glenton Stuurman took 4-29 as the Boland Rocks ended day two of the Divison One match in Paarl on 191-9.
The Rocks lead the Warriors by 362 runs.
In reply to the Rocks’ first-innings total of 332, the Warriors were bowled out for 161 on Friday, with Achille Cloete taking 5-27 in 16.2 overs. Jordan Hermann (44) and Rudi Second (37) top-scored for the visitors.
Stuurman, who took five wickets in the first innings, then dominated again with the ball as the Rocks slumped to 76-5 before Clyde Fortuin (47) and Shaun von Berg (51) shared a 100-run partnership.
Only five overs were possible on the second day of the match between the Northerns Titans and Western Province in Centurion due to rain.
The hosts were struggling on 19-3 after 10 overs in response to WP’s first innings 328.
In Bloemfontein, day two of the match between the Free State Knights and North West Dragons was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to a wet outfield.
The Dragons had ended a rain-affected day one on 94-1.
