A second century in three matches by Ryan Rickelton and a three-wicket haul from Duanne Olivier put the Central Gauteng Lions in charge of their 4-Day Series match against the Boland Rocks at the Wanderers.
Having dismissed their opponents for 170 on Thursday, the Lions began day two on 25-1.
Reeza Hendricks (47) and Rickelton added 83 runs for the second wicket, with the latter finding another willing partner in Kagiso Rapulana. The pair combined for a 140-run stand.
Rickelton scored 117 off 140 balls (19 boundaries) and Rapulana 65 off 140 balls (eight fours, one six) as the hosts posted 350 all out. Rocks all-rounder Ferisco Adams took 5-24.
Trailing by 180 runs at the start of their second innings, the Paarl-based team suffered further setbacks when Olivier reduced them to 31-3 at the close of play.
